A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

LIAR is a PS1 style story driven psychological horror game blending reality and a forgotten online world.

You play as Rail, who discovers an old MMORPG from his childhood Xenon Knight. Once filled with life, the game is now completely empty. You’re alone in a game that was never meant to be empty. Exploring a Game that buried in time

Or at least… it should be.

Gameplay:

  • First person exploration
  • Interaction based progression (no combat systems (ok a tiny one))
  • Narrative driven objectives
  • Seamless transitions between real world and game world

Controls:

  • WASD Keys - Move
  • E or Right Mouse - Interact
  • Left Mouse - Attack
  • Space - to Read Through Dialogue / Jump in Game
  • T - to toggle chat

As you explore the silent world, memories begin to surface. Conversations repeat. Events distort. And something or someone that haven't supposed to be there, lurks

Sometimes a tiny, almost unnoticeable mistake done by you in the past can lead your entire life into a complete tragedy!

This horror game will touch a very common part of every single player.

P.S: The Game World is Intended to be buggy/weird animations cuz its a very old game (definitely not because I'm lazy :P)

Included this in my 3 random horror game video!
Short but not too shabby especially for being made for a gamejam. Did feel a bit janky at times BUT the game did not seem to really bug or have problems interfering with the gameplay. Made a video on it.
